Unrest in Middle East
There is quite a lot of unrest in the Middle East as you know from the news and the media. Many groups are working hard to bring Peace On Earth, particularly, when holidays come around and attention is on the hope, brotherhood, peace, and happiness expressed by all religions. It's no surprise that the Scientologists have taken on the task of improving conditions in places like the Middle East. With the workable technology of the Way to Happiness, all of us can come under the same banner of peace and understanding, because all the principles of the Way to Happiness are common sense answers to relationships and activities. You can read about our latest efforts in the Middle East at: Peace and Understanding in the Middle East.Tuesday, September 05, 2006
Welcome Back from Labor Day Weekend
I just had a wonderful, relaxing labor day weekend. I got to spend some time in the city, strolling through the streets and as always admire the beautiful Church of Scientology of San Francisco, which now sits in the original Transamerica building, having fully restored it to its glory and beauty.I also caught up on some episodes I missed between Lee Eichenbaum and Christopher Callen from the New Civilization Podcast. I listened to Michael Duff and Kirk Mossing. Incredible. Both incredible episodes. Michael talks about Scientology and being an Artist. Kirk talks about Russia. I also see that as I type this, a new episode is being downloaded which features Bernard Percy and is about the Foundation of Brilliance. I'm quite excited to hear this new episode as well.
Listening to the New Civilization Podcast really gives a lot of information of what Scientologists do and all the effects they create and you get to hear them speak freely about their careers, Scientolgy, life and everything when otherwise they may not be heard. It's such a pleasure.

Christopher Callen Speaks on New Civilization Podcast
Here is another great episode on the New Civilization Podcast which features Christopher Callen an accomplished actress and singer, who's performed in movies and Broadway plays. In this episode, she also talks about radiation and the Purification Rundown, developed by L. Ron Hubbard, which is a detoxification program to help rid a person of the harmful effects of drugs, toxins and radition in his/her life.Wednesday, August 16, 2006
Latest on CCHR Exhibit In San Jose
Here is an account of the CCHR Exhibit that opened on Monday and will be touring around the US.What a rocket ride! Last night's opening ceremony was awesome with NAACP President Rick Callender as the keynote speaker and Councilwoman Linda LeZotte speaking and helping to open the exhibit. Also speaking was a local Family law attorney and an advocacy group for parents and kids. There was a lot of people there, much buzz and excitment. All who see this exhibit are very impressed. We stayed open until midnight seeing many people through the exhibit.
On Tuesday we did day tours plus an interview with a reporter from El Observador, a local weekly paper. It is expected to come out Wednesday. We also toured San Jose Councilman Forrest Williams, others from the NAACP, a nurse and an Editor from the Santa Clara Weekly.
Due to the momentum occurring we are keeping the exhibit open through Friday 5pm.
It's an exciting time.

Promoting Peace In the Middle East
The Church of Scientology receives accolades every year for it's constant work in promoting human rights and social betterment activities. One of the current campaigns is the education of youth and adults on the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, currently being broadly promoted by the Youth for Human RightsInternational. Here is a snippet of a press release of the Youth for Human Rights 2006 World Tour which stopped in Istanbul and Dubai recently:
"En route to the Middle East, the Youth for Human Rights 2006 World Tour stops in Istanbul where youth are educated on Article 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights — the right to public assembly."
